How to Leverage Workflow Automation via Your Website

Manual data entry may be one of the most tedious tasks out there. Not only does it require significant focus, it also wastes valuable time and resources, shredding your productivity to bits. In fact, data insertion takes over 10 hours per week. This is where workflow automation comes to the rescue. Workflow automation encourages the replacement of paper-based and manual errands using digital tools. It typically takes a single work platform that integrates with currently operational business processes and controls. Workflow automation aims to maintain and increase efficiency and eliminate human error and distractions.

If you haven’t already taken advantage of automation to handle your website or workplace, you have been missing out.

What Is Workflow Automation Precisely?

Workflow automation is defined as a construct, formulation, categorization and automation of website or business processes on the basis of current rules where work assignments are automatically generated and r... read more

Cerebras’ New Monster AI Chip Adds 1.4 Trillion Transistors

Almost from the moment Cerebras Systems announced a computer based on the largest single computer chip ever built, the Silicon Valley startup declared its intentions to build an even heftier processor. Today, the company announced that its next-gen chip, the Wafer Scale Engine 2 (WSE 2), will be available in the 3rd quarter of this year. WSE 2 is just as big physically as its predecessor, but it has enormously increased amounts of, well, everything. The goal is to keep ahead of the ever-increasing size of neural networks used in machine learning.

“In AI compute, big chips are king, as they process information more quickly, producing answers in less time—and time is the enemy of progress in AI,” Dhiraj Malik, vice president of hardware engineering said in a statement.

Cerebras has always been about taking a logical solution to the problem of machine learning to the extreme. Training neural networks takes too long—weeks for the big ones when Andrew Feldman cofounded the company in 201... read more

Amazon's New Quantum Computer Design Relies On Tiny Schrödinger's Cats

posted on Jul 26, 2021
tags: computing computing hardware

Schrödinger’s cat is a thought experiment in which a quantum event suspends a cat in a box in a nebulous state between life and death: the cat only definitely becomes alive or dead when someone looks in the box. Now Amazon has unveiled a new theoretical blueprint for a quantum computer based on combining hardware versions of lots of Schrödinger’s cats.

Classical computers switch transistors either on or off to symbolize data as ones or zeroes, while quantum computers use quantum bits—qubits—that, because of the surreal nature of quantum physics, can exist in a state of superposition where they are both 1 and 0 at the same time. This essentially lets each qubit perform two calculations simultaneously.

If two qubits are quantum-mechanically linked, or entangled, they can help perform 2^2 or four calculations simultaneously; three qubits, 2^3 or eight calculations; and so on. In theory, a quantum computer with 300 qubits could perform more calculations in an instant than there are a... read more
